About four weeks ago on a fine saturday afternoon, i decided that it was high time to get myself another animal familiar. so i thought a fish would be fine enough, cheap and easy up-keep. So about three weeks ago, i took my trusty friend Cory to help me buy a fish.
This is Balthazar, he is a red wag platy. 
I meant to only buy one fish, but Cory persuaded me to by my fish a friend. So i bought this cute little golden twin-barred platy.
I let Cory name him, so his name is Alan (after Alan Grant on Jurassic Park ^_^).
Here they are together.
And here they are at home. ^_^Exciting, yes?

Looks neat! I'm jealous! I could sit and watch fish swim around for hours. I love the glass/water environment. Maybe when we have a bowl or aquarium, we'll get an aquatic frog too. :-) I had a roommate once who had a two aquatic frogs. One escaped once, and I found it cautiously hopping around on the rug in the living room! I'm glad I saw it!!
