REUNION RECAP Part 6 Go Karts

That was the hottest day and the majority of us went to the Nascar Go-Kart place. ^_^ After a long day of racing around in Go-Karts, we went home to rest and eat. The adults went out to dinner and the rest of us had a game night. ^_^
A good last day of our reunion.

REUNION RECAP Part 5 Donuts

On this day we made GRANDPA DONUTS!
and it was EPIC!
Later on, we went tubing. No photos of that, but i'm sure each one of us has our own special memory of that outing. ^_^

We came back and had dinner and then enjoyed the talent show pieces of the Lopezs and Felgers.

REUNION RECAP Part 4 POOL!

This was the day we spent SIX hours at the pool and where most of us got some serious sun. OUCH. Are you still pealing?

Grandma doesn't like to get wet hugs from Aunt Jo.

The day we learned that our family has some very talented divers.

and that Uncle Jim is Fabio because he's fabulous.

Later in the evening, the young adults went to The Japanese Steakhouse and then later witnessed Katrina, Kari, and Jana go on that crazy Skyscraper ride. ^_^

REUNION RECAP Part 3 Cades Cove

We had a picnic lunch in the amazing smoky mountains.

This is the first of several deer we saw that day! It felt kind of like Jurassic Park, driving around in cars looking at all the wildlife. Though deer are a far cry from raptors ...

BEAUTIFUL
BEAUTIFUL!

We went home and sat and talked and some of us got a little more closer in our relationships. ^_^

REUNION RECAP Part 2 Pigeon Forge

We began the day with breakfast, which was Cereal Heaven. ^_^ Then headed off into the dreary weather (well most see it that way, but not I. I LOVE the rain) to shop around Pigeon Forge. See how excited we are? ^_^

In the evening we ate yummy spaghetti and brownies and enjoyed the talents of the Leibbrands and Sullivans. ^_^

That day was also the day i received the coolest, cutest, bestest quilt ever! ^_^ THANKS TIFFANY!

Oh yes, we also did Take 1 of the Family Reunion pictures . . .

WONDERFUL WEEKEND!

This past weekend on Saturday night, the Knapp Bowman trio went to the Beulah park fireworks with the Felgers and a friend of mine.

This is Beautiful Tania

Kevin and Tania

This was the grand finale.
After the fireworks, we played with the sparklers Tania brought.

mom and Rich playing with rings of fire

Mom and Tania writing with fire

mom and rich battling with sparklers (don't try this at home),
mom has a really nice stance.
Afterward we all came back to the house and ate yummy ice cream and watermelon.

On Monday, mom and Rich didn't have to go to work. But i did.
When i got there, there were three of us teachers and only two children, OUT OF SIX CLASSES!
After about an hour, there were six teachers to seven children out of six classes. my boss sent four of us home. SO YAY! unexpected day off for me!
mom and rich had planned on going for a bikeride that day and they let me come with. We went on the Olentangy Trail, it's by the Park of Roses.
we made a pit stop before we started our long ride.

we stopped to look at the river

on our way back to the car, we made a pit stop to get some water, raisins, and granola bars . . .

and enjoy the view, the path went by this beautiful lake

relaxing with the bikes.
Overall, we did about 14.5 miles of bike path. It was really fun, despite the mugginess that day, but thankfully the path had a lot of shade and we enjoyed the nice breeze we made ourselves by pedaling. ^_^

Afterwards we stopped in the Park of Roses for about five minutes. ^_^ We were tired and hungry after all. ^_^

I HOPE YOU HAD A GREAT WEEKEND TOO! But a better one is yet to COME!

REUNION TIME IS DAYS AWAY! would i sound crazy if i told you i'm mostly packed?

i'm just so SUPER-PSYCHED!

Aeris Noel is HERE!

We received an e-mail from Jeremy this evening about the new arrival to the Bowman family, to all of those who aren't on the e-mail list, here's what it said:

Aeris was born on July 3rd at 1:03AM weighing in at 7lbs 3oz! It went faster than I could believe. I got the call from Kristin while I was at work in Nagato that her water broke and she was going to the hospital. I had to wait around and finish my last class before I rushed back to Hagi as fast as I could, in the rain, which makes it even more dramatic. When I got to the hospital Kristin didn't look like she was having a good time, but she pushed through it. She's Superwoman! After only about 7 hours of labor she had that baby out of there and she is beautiful, my opinion being completely unbiased and all. Right now she's resting at Tsushimi (?) hospital in room 620 for any who can and want to visit her. I know she'll be happy to see any visitors. God is good to us! Thank you everybody for your prayers.

and the pictures attached to it:

Look how CUTE she is! Check out those chubby rosy cheeks! ^_^ PRAISE GOD that she's here and healthy and so is Kristin, the new mommy and Jeremy, the proud daddy!

LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS OF LOVE TO AERIS AND ALL OF YOU!

PRAISE GOD ALMIGHTY FOR HIS GRACE AND LOVE!

now to begin becoming the AWESOMEST AUNT JEANETTE YET!
