Computer Woes

On the night of December 22nd, I went to turn on my laptop Zeke (little gateway guy). But alas, he would not turn on, instead his little blue power button flashed at me feebly.

I let him sit for a day or two (because he has been known to do so in the past) to see if he would recover. Around the third day when he still had not reacted, I became concerned and enlisted the smartest computer men I know (Brendan and Kevin) to see if they could give me a diagnosis.

Bad charger.

So I took it to a man on Broadway and waited for what the fate of my beloved Zeke could be. A week past, leaving me more worried an anxious with each passing day, when I was told what was wrong.

Zeke had been fried. May he rest in peace.

So I type this now on my first laptop, good ol' relieable Joho, who is going on six or seven years and still kicking.

I enlisted Brendan and Kevin's help once more to suggest new options for my NEW and third laptop. I ordered one of Brendan's suggestions from Dell on Tuesday night and eagerly await its arrival . . . maybe tomorrow? I can dream can't I?
