FAMILY FUN IN JULY!

hello, dearest family!
i know you have all been dying to know what the northerners
were up to this past week, so i've decided to enlighten you.

FRIDAY 7/3:
Thursday, tiffany and brendan came in to town and spent their friday with mom.
Friday night we all went to the Lopez house to await the arrival of grandma and
the lyons. we ate yummy sandwhiches for dinner, and later that night, after grandma
and the lyons arrived, we kicked off independence day off right by playing with sparklers.
some of us getting too giddy.

SATURDAY 7/4:
We spent day at the knapp/bowman house, where we had a large grill
out as we waited for the local fireworks display.
it started sprinkling, so as we set out to see the fireworks (which were within walking dstance), we all grabbed umbrellas. the 18 or so of us must have looked amusing walking
through downtown grove city with all our umbrellas and fold up chairs.

SUNDAY 7/5:
went to my church first service, then lopezchurch for second, then
to fazoli's for lunch. spent the day at knapp house and played a rousing game
of wiffle ball. later that evening we called jeremy and kristin and were able
to hook up the computer to the t.v. so we could see their
beautiful and glorious faces in the large.

MONDAY 7/6:
everyone seemed to go their seperate ways, many were at work.
janice, joyce, mom, and grandma went out together for a special mom/daughter date out shopping and for lunch.
in the evening everyone hooked up again at the lopez place for spaghetti and fun.

TUESDAY 7/7:
everyone went to homestead park. we brought a lunch of egg salad and tuna, played
with water guns, badminton, volleyball, catch, and basketball.
we spent 7 some hours there.

went to lopez house and had little caesars.

WEDNESDAY 7/8:
went to bethel road, visited a pet store and saw many darling puppies,
kittens, birds and other cute critters. visited half price books and then went to the dollar
movies. the majority saw mall cop, a few saw the soloist (me), and a couple saw the
ghost of girlfriends past.
went back to the lopez house for tacos and attended lopez church, which uncle tom preached on marriage. ^_^

THURSDAY 7/9:
went to slate run park, an old farmhouse where there are a few animals and
an area where one can try out walking on stilts.
tommy made stromboli's for everyone and aunt becky, uncle dave, and andrew stopped by the lopez house to join in on dinner and an incredible dessert of sundaes (kari's brillant idea).
then finished off the evening by playing katrina's threesome game, an elaborate take on taboo, charades and something else all mixed up.

it was a wonderful week now i must wait until october to see some of you again! i hope it comes quickly.

i LOVE you all!

have a GREAT week my pretties!

^_^
