Shotguns and Shopping!

Yesterday, Brendan took Kevin, Josiah, Tommy and Anna out shooting.
Today, he took ALL us.
What a courageous man we have in the family.

The the two at the top belong to Brendan and the bottom one belonged to daddy.

Brendan gave us a safety talk so we wouldn't end up killing each other.

Bundled up against the cold and mom looking crazy during her lesson in safety.

Tommy shot first demonstarting to us newbies, looking debonair.

Look how cute Kari is in her fancy coat.

Uncle Tom shot too, I believe for the first time in a LONG time.

We let Katrina shoot, going against the rule that says you should be taller than the gun is long.

Then I did, I didn't shoot a thing, but look at me own that gun! I kept the shell from my first shot.

Brendan giving a demonstration to Ti.

It was scary when Ti shot, who gave her the gun? ^_^

Tiff wasn't originally planning on shooting, but she did on request. She walked up and owned that gun, she even loaded it herself. Look how awesome she is in all her finery! ^_^

The Santa would be Aunt Joyce.

Rich went next, he went shooting with Brendan on the last time Brendan and Tiff were here.

Brendan and Kevin both shot at the same time.

Who would give that face a gun? though he did shoot his first three clay pigeons all in a row.

Josiah shot next for all of us, he shot the second clay pigeon, quite the natural.
Brendan was excellent, sharing his shotguns and being patient with all of us. He's a wonderful addition to our family. ^_^
After about an hour, all of us left Brendan, Josiah, and Tommy and headed out to Bath & Body Works because they had a sale. I believe all the ladies left with a bag.

Christmas, Christmas, Christmas starts with "C"

HAPPY CHRISTMAS!
Christmas morning started about 9:30 at our house, (they made me wait!)
We read the Christmas story and then the fun ensued.

King Brendan and his hoard.

Princess Tiffany and her gifts.

Mother's FAVORITE gift, she's caressing it.

Me with two of my favorite gifts, my green sweater that Rich picked out and my picture of Batman that Brendan had comissioned for me.

Later in the evening we headed to the Lopez residence and shared in a cuban Christmas feast,I have two words for it: YUM YUM!

We were sitting elbow to elbow to fit us all in.

Thomas and his healing smile.

Beautiful relatives.

Later the Lopez's exchanged ornaments, some of which were homemade.

Kari made an AWESOME ornament for Kevin,

while Kevin made an AWESOME ornament for Katrina.

I had a WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS,

and I HOPE you lovelies had a WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS TOO! ^_^

Christmas Eve! ^_^

The morning of Christmas, as we anticipated the fun evening to come, Tiff and I did a craft project she found online. One where you take old Christmas cards and turn them into ornaments.

Lovely Tiff cutting circles out of the cards.
For a more in-depth, tutorial post, visit;

www.sullivanrealm.net

It took a lot of circles.

The end result, isn't it lovely.

Later that evening, after my family went to our church's candlelight service, we had the Lopez's, those that could come, over for yummy soup and grilled cheese.

my beautiful cousin and brother (in-law)

laughter, yay!

kari, kat, brendan, tiff, and I played a game of Quelf, but those pictures are classified, izzle.

ONE MORE SLEEP TIL CHRISTMAS!

COOKIE, COOKIE, COOKIE starts with "C"

hello my lovelies!
i hope everyone has been enjoying themselves so far this week.^_^
last night after work i headed out to the Lopez house, where many members
of the Lopez clan had joined in on the baking bonanza, making almost
every cookie known to man!
i got to share in the fun by decorating sugar cookies with aunt joyce, katrina,
kari, and Judah.
HERE'S what we made:

do you like the crazy bright colors? katrina and i mixed them up!

here's kari and her Hulk Hogan cookie.
apparently the lopez's own a Hulk Hogan cookie cutter?
just when you think you know people, geez.

it's got butterscotch nipples in honor of jeremy's He-man cake.

an example of our artsiness.

some finishing touches

the bell in the picture has been named the

"Sponge Bob Square Bell" or some such like that. ^_^

the aftermath

kevin and ti came over later and decorated some cookies, though kevin only did one. he seems to be a one cookie kind of man. and that's chocolate chip!

here's judah eating the Sponge Bob Square Bell cookie, after he asked so nicely for my permission. ^_^

I LOVE YOU FAMILY!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

i'm so excited, it's only two sleeps away! ^_^

because my sister said so

I hope everyone had a splendid Thanksgiving!
I'm updating because i actually have something to share (and because my sister said so). My Thanksgiving was WONDERFUL, I spent it with my parents and Brendan and Tiff. ^_^
I decided to share all the different ways my family members act around and
effect one another when we spend time with each other.
So here goes:
We play with guns

we EAT!

We get a little crazed,

we laze and computer gaze.

We share,

and grin,

and get a little sleepy as we take each other in.

We strike some crazy, silly pose

and pretend that we're hoboes!
Well, i LOVE you ALL!
have a GREAT week!
^_^
